This super cute sign is perfect to make this time of year. It's almost spring and what better way to celebrate than preparing for your spring garden? We found this super cute sign over at The Little Green Bean and thought it was adorable. We love the way they use multiple fonts to make it fun and put together.
The author uses a cricut to cut out her letters, but if you aren't fortunate enough to have a cricut, have no fear- print your letters on a sheet of copy paper how you want them to be, and then use a glue stick to glue them to your contact paper. Wait for the glue to dry then use an Xacto knife or scissors to cut out the letters.
What we love most about this project is the way it is painted, with two coats one over the contact paper. It allows for sharp edges, the ability to reposition your letters until you are absolutely happy, and if you want to distress the edges it allows even more customization. Add a few extra layers of color for a few surprises while distressing.
