Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with homemade gifts? This one is fast, easy, and can be done with scraps of fabric. For any music lover in your life, you can either include new headphones, or make this special gift for their already used and loved headphones.
All you will need for each of these is two (or more) fabrics, one for lining, one for the outside, a zipper, batting (or interfacing) a keyring, and a sewing machine. A bit of sewing experience will help, but as long as you start on your projects early enough, you should be fine with little to no knowledge.
Some tips? Search your local fabrics store for remnants. This project doesn't take much in the way of fabric, so remnants may be all you need.
Also instead of using the same fabric for all, you can use different fabrics based on the main theme. This may not look as polished or put together to some of you, but I think three different blue fabrics/patterns when done right would look great together. Or you could have the front be one fabric, and the back be another.
Regardless of what you do, this awesome pattern from Dog Under My Desk would make a great gift for any music lover in your life, and would cost less and mean more than anything you could buy.
